Summer Is Over

Bill and I had a fun summer. We started out going to Nauvoo. Actually we flew to Kansas City, toured Independence, went to Liberty Jaio, found Adam Ondi Ahaman and Hauns Mill then drove to Nauvoo. We had a wonderful time touring all of the historic buildings, taking in all of the shows, and attending the temple.

We learned that Joseph Smith's swordd from the Mormon Battalion hangs in the temple and that an antique clock is stopped at the hour of his martyrdom.

This was the Woodruff Inn where we stayed one night until we realized, there were no closets, tv remote, phone or anyway to get ahold of anyone closer than SLC.

We were home for a few days and then off to the Caribe Hilton in San Juan. Bill had a Natural Medicine Pharmacy meeting and I had an appointment with several novels and the pool.

When I got home from Puerto Rico Jes arrived with the girls. We had a fun time shopping and going to the zoo. It was 105-116 degrees the entire time they were here so the biggest task was staying coooool. Snocones helped a bit.
Right after jes left I journeyed to Naples to meet our newest grandchild. Macy Kate Montierth was born on June 25th, the day after her big sister's birthday. She is a petite feminine whisp of a baby girl. Her siblings adore her!!! It ws fun to take Bryn and Cody to the movies, swinmming, shopping, etc. I enjoyed playing hairdresser and Cody even let me use his
Dinosaur!!!!!!
The party is over! I've been back to work since July 20th! Bill is so busy at the Pharmacy that he goes in some nights to compound things he can't get done during the day.
Bill is now HP group leader and I am Primary 1st Counselor. We had a Scripture Scoop party tonight. The kids had a fun time and we had a good turnout.
