Fall 2009

Bill and I have been very busy. We've been on an expedition to find a new car, gone to Omaha, had a visit from Macy Montierth and her mom, and are in the throws of celebrating Halloween.

First of all we went to Omaha, Nebraska for a Natural Medicine Convention. Omaha, is the home of Omaha Steaks. We obliged and had gigantic steaks at a Old Town restuarant called Upstream. It was in an old warehouse that was converted. It was fantastic inside and the meal was great. We were lucky to be able to visit a church historical site, called Winter Quarters. This is where many Mormon pioneers wintered during the trek west. And no, it wasn't like a

snobird heading for Naples, Florida in October. Hundreds of the pioneers died and are buried there.

When we arrived home, Macy Montierth and her mom arrived for a little R&R. This is grandpa at his best.
Macy has already learned to roll over. This is a before shot.

And this is the after. Isn't she amazing?

Bill and I always like to make a showing at our church Halloween Party. Last year we went in hunting garb. This year we went for the mad scientist look. I am the one on the right with the syringe. It contains H1N1 VACCINE. We took a poll to see who liked Bill better with hair. The concensus was, bald is more beautiful. :)

Sassie poo is going with the Princess look this year. She is sporting a beautiful pink ruffled dress, complete with pearl and onyx choker. Who says Schnauzers aren't beautiful?
