New Year

Happy New Year!
We spent last night with friends at their home on Cotile Lake. We ate ribs, played games, and laughed a lot until 11:45. We were then summoned out on the deck for the pyrotechnic display.
Bill's new LD lit LL Bean baseball cap came in handy, as the men in charge of lighting the fuses had no flash light. We had a great fireworks display that lasted about half an hour.

When we arrived home Sassle was shaking all over although we had given her her Xanax before we left. She tried getting in bed with us, hiding in the closet and nudging Bill's head with her nose til he got up and gave her some more medicine. Betsy, we will trade you for Benjamin....what do you say?

Today we took down Christmas, did a lot of chores and then went to see the movie Marley and me. It is a great movie for dog lovers and lovers in general. It is sad in the end but a true love story. Everyone, men and women were sniffling when they walked out. (me, too) Don't take the children though, it is too sad.

We wish all of you a Happy New Year, filled with prosperity and health. Stay close to each other and the Lord....
